Ah I see you have the same snow situation as we do....lol We have 3 young women to get to the airport and it is a non happening situation. My niece needs to be at the airport at Murcia, today, but we cannot get out of our gate let alone the road. Our middle daughter and her friend need to be at the airport in Granada tomorrow and we do not think we are going to be able to get there either.....EEEK!

WOW!!! Nobody alive can remember so much snow in the area. How I envy you!!! I'd like to be stuck there, being unable to go to work.

Atila, I don't think it is sensible to go out today. The A-92 is closed in from Baza to Velez-Rubio. In Chirivel the roof of a petrol station has collapsed causing 14 wounded people, and not even helicopters have been able to land on the snow to rescue them.

Enjoy the snow!!!

Blimey Emilio !!! Serious stuff. I know the motorway is closed we have just walked over that way and nothing was moving. I am praying that it actual rains tonight so we can get all the girls to the airports one has to go to Murcia and the other two to Granada. Any idea where I can catch road reports to let me know what the road conditions are like?

We were out in this last night and only just managed to get back to the cave in a Nissan Patrol 4x4.

You have updated information about roads at http://www.dgt.es/trafico/estado_circulacion/estadoCarreteras.htm.

You know that the alternative route to Granada when the Puerto de la Mora is closed is to take the road to Jaen after passing Guadix and then the motorway Jaen Granada, although that road wasw closed this morning, too.
