Changes in the Campo

A friend of ours recently commented on how grass cutting wouldnt be an issue in our Spanish garden, well not in the garden as we have gravel but across the road...

It amazing how the countryside rejuvinates itself in the Spring. This year is particularly green after six weeks of rain on and off. Only last year we tipped 50+ wheel barrows of cave rock over the edge of the hill, now its green covered in poppies and other wild flowers.

Looking over at the mountains it could be Scotland...

I love this time of the year - the poppies look fab!

I agree - it was driving along the road from Galera to Orce at this time of year that helped us make up our minds to take the plunge and buy our cave. I'll never forget that drive - the poppies were fantastic.
