Here comes the snow again...

Our road...

On the roof

Next door

and the valley

A beutifull sight to wake up to in the morning, we have also had a visit from the Gaurdia Civil this morning checking if we needed anything and asking if we had snow chains for the car. Fire is on and brandy coffee is the drink of day.....

Well, as long as you keep your noses indoor you shouldn't be too cold. Nice detail the Guardia Civil passing by to check if you're not snowed in.
What about a snow man?

We even got snow in Murcia and also in the Torrevieja area. First time they have seen snow here for 23 years and it was still on the ground a bit this morning. Must have been a bit of a novelty value to a lot of the spanish kids who have never seen it snow.
Glad it was last week I was in your area, I could have been snowed in...lol

Drove to Los Olivos today - not a good idea 20kmph all the way. Must say it does look pretty all the snow everywhere, and had a great snowball fight earlier. No water for Ramons mum (her boiler pipes have split) and no water for his sister they have frozen. It is expected to last until Tuesday.
Our pipes have defrosted now so we are okay. Hope you won't be needing the JCB's to come and dig you out this year!!

dcver: Thanks, its warm as toast indoors, the Gaurdia put the wind up us a bit just turning up as they did out of the blue, might be my guilty conscience...!

Sally: Frozen pipes again, last year I spent an hour on the patio with a hairdryer lol

Spainblog: It may be just as well I think Pulpite would have had a good covering too - you bringing the cherokee next time?

Kate: The campo is a lovely sight, seems like frozen pipes all round - no JCB,s so far (fingers crossed)

Some great pictures. I can't believe the amount of snow you've had in Andalucia. I'm in Barcelona at the moment and its like a spring day - you don't even need a jacket!

Cheers Nick,

Thanks for the comment - have you not had some snow up your way too??? It gets a bit concerning when it reaches half way up the front door! Think we have had the last for this year though, today is a lovely bright day.

Cave Renovator,

I have been enjoying your blog. The snow photos are great! I can't believe that's the same Andalucia I traveled two summers ago, when it was so hot that my tank top and shorts felt like a snowsuit. (100+, I think, but I'm not good at converting C to F.) Keep warm!
